Fox Valley Lutheran softball stays unbeaten with win at Clintonville

CLINTONVILLE – Fox valley Lutheran used a six-run fourth inning to push past Clintonville 7-3 in a North Eastern Conference softball game Tuesday at Clintonville High School.
The Foxes remain perfect on the season, moving to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in the NEC. Clintonville drops to 6-7 and 3-5 in conference play.
Claire Pfrang and Brianan Dahlke each had two hits and two RBI to pace the Foxes’ offense.
Dahlke struck out six over four innings to earn the win and Paige Leavitt finished off the game, giving up two runs over the final three innings for FVL.
Fox Valley Lutheran will host Luxemburg-Casco with first place on the line Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Luxemburg-Casco sits one-half game behind the Foxes in the NEC standings at 7-1.
