Appleton United girls lacrosse grabs road win at Verona/Mount Horeb

VERONA – The Appleton United girls lacrosse team picked up a hard-fought 9-6 win over Verona/Mount Horeb on Tuesday night at Verona High School.

Alexis Process, Ally Rhoda, Elizabeth VanRyzin, Elle Chipman, Kayden Smit and Riley Harris scored goals for Appleton, with Process and Rhoda contributing assists.

Appleton goalie Morgan Muntner had eight saves in the win as the team improves to 4-6 this season.

Appleton is back on the road Friday at Bay Port starting at 5:30 p.m.
