Appleton West girls soccer blanks Marshfield

APPLETON – Appleton West scored twice in a span of just more than two minutes midway through the first half and went on to defeat Marshfield 3-0 in a nonconference girls soccer game Thursday at Appleton West High School.

Addyson Knoebel scored at the 13:58 mark and Madison Milhaupt added a goal 2:05 later to give the Terrors (4-6-1) the lead.

Knoebel added another goal with 20:10 remaining in the game to finish off the victory.

Marshfield falls to 3-5-2.

Appleton West will be back in action at Appleton East on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
