Kimberly softball takes down Appleton West

KIMBERLY – Kimberly scored nine times in the first two innings and defeated Appleton West 14-4 in a Fox Valley Association softball game Friday at Sunset Park.

Appleton West scratched out single tallies in the first two innings but were held to just two hits in the game and fall to 1-9 overall and 0-9 in the FVA.

Hazel Plamann had a single and an RBI, and Hattie Moscinski had a single and scored a run for the Terrors.

Breckan Luedtke had four hits and knocked in two runs for Kimberly (9-1, 7-1 FVA).

Appleton West is back in action Monday at Oshkosh West.
