Appleton East baseball earns nonconference win at Pulaski

PULASKI – The Appleton East baseball team won its fifth game in a row with a 4-1 win over Pulaski in nonconference action Friday at Pulaski High School.
Cade Prestigiacomo struck out 10 over 6 1/3 innings and Alex Thompson got the final two outs to finish off the three-hitter for Appleton East (9-3).
Prestigiacomo also had three hits and an RBI, and Thompson had a single, a double and scored twice for the Patriots.
Appleton East’s next game is Tuesday at Appleton North. The two teams stand in a three-way tie with Hortonville for second place in the Fox Valley Association, one game behind Kimberly.
