Appleton East baseball throttles Neenah

APPLETON – The Appleton East baseball team put up eight runs in the first two innings and cruised to an 11-3 win over Neenah in a Fox Valley Association contest Tuesday at East High School.
The win is the Patriots’ fourth in a row as they improve to 8-3 overall and 5-2 in the FVA.
Rylan Winkler struck out five over four innings of work to earn the win for Appleton East.
The Patriots had four extra base hits, including a double and a home run from Jackson Bines-Sabrowsky, who drove in three runs. Cade Prestigiacomo also had a pair of his and three RBI in the win.
Appleton East will host Kaukauna on Thursday.
