MILWAUKEE – The 2025 WIAA State Boys Soccer Tournament was contested at Uihlein Soccer Park on Nov. 6-8.

Four divisional championship matches were held Saturday, Nov. 8.

Here’s a recap of the championship matches:

DIVISION 1
Madison West 1, Milwaukee Marquette 0

Madison West won its first state title since 1988 with a shutout of perennial power Milwaukee Marquette.

The championship is Madison West’s fourth, having also won titles in 1984 and 1987.

Louis Rowe scored on a header from Jonah Wallace following a free kick with 5:50 remaining in regulation time for the game’s only goal.

DIVISION 2
Whitefish Bay 3, DeForest 1

Whitefish Bay won its eighth state title with a resounding victory over DeForest.

All of the goals were scored in the first half, with Thomas Began, Reid Muderlak and Tucker Drane netting goals for Whitefish Bay.

Whitefish Bay also won state titles in 1982, 1983, 1994, 1995, and three-straight from 2015-17.

DIVISION 3
Waukesha Catholic Memorial 2, Green Bay Notre Dame 1

Catholic Memorial captured its second state title, to go along with one in 2010, on a Notre Dame own goal with 4:36 remaining in regulation.

Cal Olbrantz scored the game’s first goal for the Crusaders just 2:18 into the game before Notre Dame tied it on a goal from Liam West with 14 seconds to go before halftime and the score held at 1-1 until the miscue late that proved to be the game-winner for Catholic Memorial.

DIVISION 4
Oostburg 1, Sturgeon Bay 0 (2 OT)

After 99 minutes and 24 seconds of scoreless soccer, Cade Dirske knocked in a goal off an assist from Parker Meerdink to give Oostburg the Division 4 state title in the second 10-minute overtime period.

The state title is Oostburg’s second, with the other coming in a shootout in Division 2 in 1994.
