2025 WIAA state football playoff brackets released

The 2025 WIAA state football playoff brackets were announced on Saturday morning and two Appleton teams will be participating.

Level 1 games in seven divisions will be played Friday, Oct. 24, with winners advancing to Level 2 on Oct. 31. Sectional finals are set for Nov. 6, with the state semifinals on Nov. 13 and the 2025 WIAA State Football Championships slated for Nov. 19-20 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.

In Division 1, Appleton North (5-4) is the No. 6 seed in the Sectional 4 bracket and will play at No. 3 Bay Port (7-2) on Friday. Franklin and Milwaukee Reagan at the top two seeds in the sectional.

Fox Valley Lutheran (6-3) is the No. 6 seed in Division 3 Sectional 1 and will also hit the road for a Level 1 game at No. 3 Luxemburg-Casco. Grafton and Plymouth are the top two seeds in the bracket.
