Appleton East girls basketball thumps Oshkosh West

OSHKOSH – The Appleton East girls basketball team continued its hot streak with a methodical 63-46 victory over Oshkosh West on Tuesday at Oshkosh West High School.

Appleton East is now 9-2 in its last 11 games, running its record to 12-8 overall and 11-5 in the FVA.

Tori Neubauer had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Lilly Meulemans and Emilia MontMarquette each contributed 11 points in the win for the Patriots.

Maddie Rasmussen finished with 16 points and eight rebounds for Oshkosh West (10-12, 7-9 FVA).

Appleton East will host Appleton West as part of a girls-boys doubleheader on Friday. The girls game begins at 6 p.m. with the boys game to follow at approximately 7:45 p.m.
