Fox Valley Lutheran softball holds off Freedom to win sixth straight

APPLETON – Natalie Bromm homered and drove in four runs to lead the Fox Valley Lutheran softball team to a 6-4 win over Freedom in a North Eastern Conference game Thursday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
The Foxes remain undefeated this season, improving to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the North Eastern Conference.
Madison Babcock struck out 12 and walked two in a complete-game effort for Fox Valley Lutheran.
Marlee Smith had a double and two RBI for Freedom (5-3, 5-2 NEC).
Fox Valley Lutheran will play a nonconference game at Shawano on Friday.
