Late rally pushes Lake Country Lutheran past Fox Valley Lutheran baseball

WAUPUN – The Fox Valley Lutheran baseball team dropped its first game at the Waupun Tournament, losing 6-4 to Lake Country Lutheran on Friday.
Lake Country Lutheran (6-1) scored four times in the bottom of the sixth inning to bust open a tie game and held on for the win after the Foxes scored twice on a single by Jack Schlueter in the seventh.
Schlueter finished with three RBI in all and Lincoln Thede hit a solo home run for Fox Valley Lutheran (5-4).
Fox Valley Lutheran will play again Saturday as the tournament concludes.
