Three pitchers combine on no-hitter as Xavier baseball blanks Green Bay East/West

GREEN BAY – Three Xavier pitchers combined on a six-inning no-hitter as the Hawks shut out Green Bay East/West 10-0 in a Bay Conference baseball game Tuesday at Joannes Park.
Frankie Cavaiani struck out five over four innings, and Matthew Potter and Easton Stempa each tossed a shutout inning to finish off the no-hitter for Xavier, which improves to 4-5 overall and 2-4 in the Bay Conference after posting its fourth-straight victory.
Reed Flick had three hits and scored twice, and Stempa had a single, a triple and two RBI to pace the Xavier offense.
Green Bay East/West falls to 0-7 overall and 0-6 in the Bay Conference.
Xavier will take on Wautoma at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
