Oshkosh North slugs past Appleton West softball

APPLETON – Oshkosh North scored runs in each of the first five innings and went on to defeat Appleton West 12-1 in a Fox Valley Association softball game Tuesday at the Nienhaus Sports Complex.

The Terrors (1-11, 0-11 FVA) were held to four hits, two by Aubrey Detert, and committed nine errors leading to eight unearned runs.

Olivia Borowitz went 4-for-5 and drove in a pair of runs for Oshkosh North (5-11, 2-8 FVA).

The Terrors will travel to Hortonville for another FVA game on Thursday.
