OSHKOSH – Teegan Karpinske coaxed a groundout with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning to earn the save for the Appleton North baseball team in a 5-4 win over Oshkosh West on Tuesday at Oshkosh West High School.
The Lightning broke a 3-3 tie in the sixth inning on a two-run single by Levi Watts, and after West scored once in the bottom of the seventh, Appleton North starter Logan Hudson was relieved by Karpinske.
