Appleton West boys golf wraps up FVA regular-season title with win over Neenah

APPLETON – The Appleton West boys golf team clinched the outright Fox Valley Association regular-season dual meet championship with a narrow 162-165 win over Neenah on Monday at Butte des Morts Country Club.

Prestynn Evers shot a 38 to win medalist honors and Graham Goldschmidt added a 39 to finish second for the Terrors, who end the FVA season with an 8-1 dual meet record.

Austin Arizola shot 42, Lucas Downs had a 44 and Thomas Wendt had a 49 to round out Appleton West’s scoring.

Both teams will compete at the Fox Valley Association Boys Golf Tournament at Chaska Golf Course in Appleton on Friday.
