Xavier baseball posts shut out win over Crivitz

APPLETON – Six Xavier pitchers combined on a one-hit shutout as the Hawks downed Crivitz 8-0 in a nonconference baseball game to finish its regular season on Tuesday at Don Hawkins Field.
Reed Flick drove in three runs and Gavin Wiese had two RBI to lead the Xavier offense.
Frankie Caviani struck out three over three innings to earn the pitching win for the Hawks.
Both teams finish the regular season with a 12-12 record.
Xavier will host Two Rivers in a WIAA Division 2 regional quarterfinal on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Hawkins Field.
