2025 WIAA State Softball Tournament scoreboard

MADISON – The 2025 WIAA State Softball Tournament concluded with five divisional championship games on Saturday at Goodman Diamond.

Belmont (26-3) won its third state title, earning the Division 5 crown with an 8-3 win over Almond-Bancroft.

Belmont, making its eighth state tournament, also won a Division 4 title in 2002 and a D-5 championship in 2019.

In Division 4, Mishicot (26-3) edged Stevens Point Pacelli 1-0 in nine innings in the final, denying Pacelli a third-straight state title. Mishicot, making its third state tournament appearance in a row, picked up its second state title to go along with one in 2021.

Poynette (26-2) earned the Division 3 championship with an 11-5 rout of Fall Creek. Poynette, playing in its 13th state tournament, has now won seven state titles (1998, 2005, 2011, 2018, 2019, and 2022).

Denmark (25-7) won its fifth state title, and first since 1997, with a 4-1 victory over Jefferson in the Division 2 final. Denmark also won state titles in 1982, 1983 and 1991.

In the Division 1 championship, Kaukauna (28-0) completed an undefeated season with a 1-0 win over Kenosha Bradford. The title is the Ghosts’ sixth to go along with D-1 championships in 2010, 2017, and three in a row from 2021-23.
