Appleton Post 38 Legion baseball drops home game to Manitowoc

APPLETON – Manitowoc Post 88 held Appleton Post 38 to five hits and won 7-1 in an American Legion baseball game Sunday night at Don Hawkins Field.
After Manitowoc scored three times in the first inning, Appleton (8-9) scored its only run on an RBI single by Brennan Otto.
Brayden Steinbecker went 4-for-4 and scored twice to lead Manitowoc (14-7).
Appleton will play at Kaukauna on Monday at 7 p.m.
