Appleton West football trounces Sheboygan South

APPLETON – Connor Navis threw for five touchdowns and Charlie Blevins ran for two more as the Appleton West football team blew past Sheboygan South 52-14 in a nonconference game Friday night at Appleton West High School.

Parrion Peace and Chase Verboomen each hauled in two touchdown receptions, and Bennett Nelson had the other as the Terrors improve to 2-0 this season.

Blevins scored on touchdown runs of 4 and 53 yards as well for Appleton West.

Appleton West opens its Fox River Classic Conference North Division schedule at Ashwaubenon on Friday, Sept. 5.
