Xavier boys soccer tops Kiel for first win over ’25 season

APPLETON – The Xavier boys soccer team picked up its first win of the season, defeating Kiel 3-2 in a nonconference game Tuesday at Xavier High School.

Paul Mastorides scored twice, including one on a penalty kick, and Nick Vajda knocked in what proved to be the game-winner for the Hawks, who move to 1-2 this fall.

Xavier will play another nonconference game Thursday at Green Bay Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m.
