Hortonville blanks Fox Valley Lutheran boys soccer

APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran was held to six shots on goal and could not get one through as it dropped an 8-0 decision to Hortonville in a nonconference boys soccer game Saturday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Hortonville scored four goals in the first half, including two in the final 3:04, to take a commanding lead and never looked back.

The Polar Bears finished with a 23-6 shot advantage and won going away, remaining undefeated at 8-0-1 this season.

FVL falls to 3-3-1 after suffering its second-straight loss.

Justin Miller made 15 saves in goal for the Foxes.

The Foxes are back in action Monday with another nonconference game at home against Ashwaubenon beginning at 4:30 p.m.
