Appleton East girls tennis slides past Fond du Lac

APPLETON – The Appleton East girls tennis team evened its Fox Valley Association dual meet record at 3-3 with a 4-3 victory over Fond du Lac on Tuesday at East High School.

Nadia Bayer won at No. 4 singles, and the Patriots swept the three doubles matches to pull out the win.

East’s No. 3 doubles team of Kiara Brux and Addi Pavek needed a tiebreaker to take down Lexi Pagel and Olivia Wuest, 7-5, 3-6, 10-2.

East will play at Appleton North on Thursday and the Bay Port Invitational on Saturday.
