Appleton East girls volleyball downs Oshkosh North for first FVA win

OSHKOSH – The Appleton East girls volleyball team picked up its first Fox Valley Association win of the season with a 3-0 sweep of Oshkosh North on Thursday night at Oshkosh North High School.
The Patriots won 25-12, 25-13, 25-16. Both teams are now 1-3 in Fox Valley Association matches.
Senior Reese Reichelt had six kills, senior Tesha Schlock added five kills, and Adina DePagter and Ryley Foley each added four kills for the Patriots.
East’s service game proved strong as Zoe Wockenfuss had six aces and Opal Parkman finished with five. Wockenfuss also had a team-best 18 digs in the win.
Appleton East will have a week off before hosting Neenah for an FVA match on Thursday, Sept. 25, for Youth Night. The varsity match begins at 7 p.m.
