Appleton West football rolls past Green Bay Southwest

APPLETON – Appleton West scored at least one touchdown in every quarter and throttled Green Bay Southwest 38-0 in a Fox River Valley Classic Conference North Division football game Friday night at Appleton West High School.

Connor Navis threw for 134 yards and a touchdown, and ran for two more, while Charlie Blevins rushed for 108 yards and a score as the Terrors improve to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the FRVCC North.

Navis had 87 yards on the ground and threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Parrion Peace. Blevins was also the Terrors’ leading receiver, snagging five balls for 49 yards.

Romell Jones led the stellar defensive effort for West with a pair of sacks, and Quinn Meyers had a team-high six tackles. Peace and Jeryl Munes both had interceptions as well as the Terrors posted a shutout win.

Appleton West will be back in action Friday, Sept. 26, at Green Bay Preble.
