Xavier girls volleyball sweeps Appleton North

APPLETON – The Xavier girls volleyball team swept Appleton North 3-0 in a crosstown non-conference matchup Tuesday at Xavier High School.

The Hawks won 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Setter Sydney Neilitz had 33 assists along with three service aces, and Rose Kendall and Bralee Kiepert led a balanced front-line attack for Xavier with 10 kills.

Lexi Allen added eight kills, Allie Gioffredi had five and Bella Daley four for the Hawks.

Appleton North statistics were not reported.

Xavier hosts first-place Fox Valley Lutheran in a Bay Conference match Thursday at 7 p.m.

Appleton North will play a Fox Valley Association match at Oshkosh North on Thursday at 7 p.m.
