Fox Valley Lutheran boys soccer shuts out New London, grabs share of Bay Conference title

NEW LONDON – Kaleb Williams scored twice in the second half to help the Fox Valley Lutheran boys soccer team pull out a 3-0 win over New London in the Bay Conference finale for both teams on Friday at New London High School.
With the win, Fox Valley Lutheran grabbed a share of the Bay Conference title with Shawano, improving to 12-3-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play. New London drops to 11-2-1 and finishes the Bay Conference season at 5-2-1.
Ezra Schaser scored at the 12:32 mark off an assist from Ian Luehring and the Foxes took the 1-0 lead into halftime.
Williams scored 1:35 into the second half on an assist from Mason Stark, and added another goal on a penalty kick in the 66th minute to ice the win for FVL.
Keaton Enter saved both shots he saw in goal for the Foxes to earn the shutout win.
Fox Valley Lutheran hosts Ripon for a nonconference game Saturday at noon, before wrapping up its regular season with games at Waupun on Tuesday and Oostburg on Thursday.
