Xavier girls volleyball sweeps Green Bay West in home finale

APPLETON – Braelee Kiepert and Allie Gioffredi each had six kills to lead the Xavier girls volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep of Green Bay West in a Bay Conference match Tuesday at Xavier High School.

The Hawks won 25-8, 25-10, 25-15, to improve to 5-2 in the Bay Conference. Green Bay West drops to 1-6.

Sydney Neilitz had a team-high 13 assists and added four kills, and Raya Zurfluh and Lexi Allen each had four service aces in the win for Xavier, which was playing its final home match of the regular season.

Xavier will finish its regular season and Bay Conference slate with a match at Menasha on Thursday.
