Appleton United boys hockey shuts out Stoughton in season opener

STOUGHTON – Ethan Chosa scored twice and had an assist to lead the Appleton United boys hockey team to a 5-0 shutout win over Stoughton in its season opener Tuesday night at Mandt Community Center.

Birk Kozlowicz, Owen Ciardelli and Obsa Duehring added goals for Appleton, which outshot Stoughton 35-13.

Appleton United goalie Brady Boldt saved all 13 shots he saw in goal.

Appleton’s next game is Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the Appleton Family Ice Center against De Pere.
