Appleton West boys basketball holds off Wautoma to win season opener

APPLETON – The Appleton West boys basketball team opened its season with a 65-60 nonconference win over Wautoma on Monday night at West High School.

Parrion Peace had 21 points, and Braylon Ise added 12 points and six rebounds for the Terrors, who shot a solid 47 percent from the field (26-for-55) and made six 3-pointers.

Reid Hinkens chipped in 10 points and six rebounds as well for Appleton West.

The Terrors open their Fox Valley Association season with games at Kaukauna on Thursday and Appleton North on Friday.
