Appleton East girls basketball slams Oshkosh West in FVA opener

OSHKOSH – Ten different players scored for Appleton East in a 64-34 rout of Oshkosh West in the Fox Valley Association girls basketball opener for both teams on Tuesday at Oshkosh West High School.
The Patriots rolled out to a 40-17 lead by halftime and cruised to the win, improving to 2-1 overall.
Ella Sweeney hit four 3-pointers and scored a team-high 14 points, and Ella Jazdzewski added 13 points for Appleton East.
The Patriots play at Kaukauna on Friday.
