Late goal lifts Appleton United boys hockey past Pacelli

STEVENS POINT – Tyler Bishop scored on a power play with 4:51 to go in regulation to lift the Appleton United boys hockey team to a 3-2 win over Stevens Point Pacelli on Thursday at the Ice Hawks Ice Arena.
Birk Kozlowicz scored the first two goals for Appleton, which improves to 2-1 this season.
Brady Boldt had 38 saves in goal for Appleton.
Appleton United will host the Fox Cities Stars for a Badgerland Conference game at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Appleton Family Ice Center.
