Appleton North girls basketball pulls out road win at Seymour

SEYMOUR – The Appleton North girls basketball team overcame a five-point halftime deficit to defeat Seymour 50-46 in a nonconference game Thursday night at Seymour High School.
The Lightning outscored 25-16 in the second half to pull out the win and continue their hot start to the season, improving to 5-1.
Avery Werfal poured in 25 points to lead Appleton North.
Kenlee Jansen had 13 points for Seymour (2-3).
Appleton North is right back into action Friday with a home Fox Valley Association game against Oshkosh West. Game time is 7:15 p.m.
