Xavier girls basketball outlasts Menasha for third win in a row

MENASHA – Xavier senior Brynn Krull scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Hawks to a 49-39 win over Menasha in a Bay Conference girls basketball game Thursday night at Menasha High School.
Xavier held on, making 15 of 23 free throws, to improve to 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Bay Conference with its third-straight win.
Aria Bilke led Menasha (1-4, 0-2 Bay) with 12 points.
Xavier will have a week off before playing a nonconference game at Waupun on Thursday, Dec. 18, to start a stretch of six-straight nonconference games. The Hawks’ next Bay Conference game is Jan. 2 at home against Green Bay East.
