Unbeaten Seymour downs Appleton East boys basketball

GREEN BAY – Undefeated Seymour proved too much for Appleton East to handle as the Thunder earned a 79-58 victory in a nonconference boys basketball game Monday at the Kress Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Kyler Marks scored 32 points to lead four Seymour players in double figures as the Thunder remains unbeaten at 7-0.

Appleton East (1-8) knocked down 10 3-pointers in the loss, their fifth in a row. Joshua Christiansen and Miles Bertrand each had 14 points for the Patriots.

Appleton East will host Fond du Lac for a Fox Valley Association game on Tuesday, Jan. 6.
