Fox Cities Stars girls hockey shut out by undefeated Bay Area

ASHWAUBENON – The undefeated Bay Area Ice Bears snapped the Fox Cities Stars’ four-game winning streak with a 4-0 win in an Eastern Shores Conference girls hockey game Tuesday night at the Cornerstone Community Center.

Elliana Memken scored twice and Ava McDonald had three assists for Bay Area, which is now 13-0 overall and 6-0 in the Eastern Shores Conference.

Addison Grasse made 17 saves in goal for the Stars, who fall to 6-4 and 1-4 in conference play.

The Stars will head to Rochester, Minn., this weekend to take on Rochester Mayo on Friday and Rochester Century on Saturday for a pair of nonconference games.
