Fox Cities Stars girls hockey doubles up Arrowhead

HARTLAND – The Fox Cities Stars girls hockey team came back from an early two-goal deficit to defeat Hartland Arrowhead 6-3 in an Eastern Shores Conference game Tuesday at the Mullett Ice Center.
Arrowhead (6-14, 3-6 Eastern Shores) took a 2-0 lead in just under 11 minutes before the Stars got to work, scoring four unanswered goals to take the lead for good.
Evie Mursau had a pair of goals, and Margaret Thomas and Kendall Lindemann each knocked in goals as the Stars went ahead 4-2 after two periods.
Following an Arrowhead score, Ally Rhoda and Thomas added goals for the Stars in the final 3:14 to finish off the win and improve to 9-6 overall and 2-6 in the Eastern Shores.
The Stars are back in action Friday at Baldwin to take on the St. Croix Valley Fusion.
