Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball hits 13 3-pointers, rolls past West Salem

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team nailed 13 3-pointers and rolled to a 69-35 win over West Salem in a nonconference contest Saturday afternoon at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Kinley Peterson was 5-for-9 from 3-point range and scored a team-high 17 points, and Grace Meier was a perfect 3-for-3 from deep and added 16 points for the Foxes, who are now 13-3 overall and posting their third win in a row.

Olivia Johnson and Greta Heimerl each added 10 points in the win for FVL.

Fox Valley Lutheran plays a nonconference game at Winnebago Lutheran on Wednesday before hosting Shawano on Friday.
