Appleton West boys wrestling drops close dual to Fond du Lac

APPLETON – The Appleton West boys wrestling team wrapped up its Fox Valley Association dual meet season with a tight 34-32 loss to Fond du Lac on Thursday night at Appleton West High School.

Colton Hoeltzel (138 pounds), Brycyn Compton (157) and Malik Taylor (285) won by pin, Kevin Lor won the technical fall at 106 and Ruy Armon earned an 11-7 win at 144 for Appleton West (0-9 FVA).

The Terrors finish their regular season at the Crivitz Invitational on Friday. The Fox Valley Association Tournament will be Feb. 7 at Appleton North.
