Xavier girls basketball slams Green Bay East

GREEN BAY – The Xavier girls basketball team won its ninth-straight Bay Conference game with an 84-16 whitewashing of Green Bay East on Tuesday night at East High School.

The Hawks were unchallenged, bolting out to a 45-12 lead by halftime and held East to just four points in the second half.

Hailey Hafner scored 19 points and Brynn Krull added 18 for Xavier, which is now 16-4 overall and 10-1 in the Bay Conference, one-half game ahead of second-place Winneconne (10-2).

Xavier will play a nonconference game at Mosinee on Thursday before playing three home conference games to finish out the regular season.
