Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball holds off Omro for eighth-straight win

OMRO – The Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball team made 20 free throws and held off Omro 54-50 in a nonconference game Monday at Omro High School.

FVL went 20-for-31 from the free throw line to help offset a tough shooting night (16-for-56) and picked up its eighth-straight win.

Brianna Dahlke had 15 points and Kinley Peterson scored 14 for Fox Valley Lutheran, which is now 18-3 this season.

FVL (9-3 Bay Conference) will play at Winneconne (10-2 Bay) on Friday in a big conference matchup.
