Appleton United boys hockey loses regular-season finale to WSN Storm

APPLETON – The Appleton United boys hockey team wrapped up its regular season with a 9-2 loss to the WSN Storm (Whitefish Bay Co-op) on Thursday at the Appleton Family Ice Center.
The Storm (9-13-1) scored three times in the first period and added five more in the second to cruised past Appleton (4-19).
Henry Heathman and Gage Rowe scored goals for Appleton, which lost its 10th-straight game.
Appleton will play a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal at Bay Area at Ashwaubenon on Tuesday.
