Babcock tosses no-hitter, drives in three as Fox Valley Lutheran softball wins opener at Catholic Memorial

WAUKESHA – Fox Valley Lutheran pitcher Madison Babcock threw a no-hitter, and had three hits and three RBI as the Foxes cruised to a 9-0 win over Waukesha Catholic Memorial to open up its 2026 season on Monday at Sullivan Field.

Babcock struck out 11 and walked just one in the seven-inning shutout. She had an RBI triple in the first inning and drove in two with a double in the third to help the Foxes build a 3-0 lead.

FVL tacked on three more in the fifth thanks to an error and an RBI single by Olivia Fischer, and finished the scoring with three more runs in the seventh with Paige Leavitt picking up an RBI single.

Fox Valley Lutheran hosts Menasha on Tuesday for its Bay Conference opener. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
