Fox Valley Lutheran baseball defeats Wrightstown

APPLETON – Fox Valley Lutheran scored two runs in four different innings and defeated Wrightstown 8-3 in a nonconference baseball game Friday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Spencer Bromm allowed three runs over four innings to pick up the pitching win, and also had two hits, including a triple, and scored twice as the Foxes improve to 3-0 this season.

Brady Popp struck out three over two shutout innings of relief, and Wyatt Schlueter tossed a scoreless seventh to finish off the win for the Foxes.

Luke Heimerl and Jack Schluter both had two hits and scored twice as well for FVL.

Fox Valley Lutheran will host Seymour on Tuesday.
