Fox Valley Lutheran baseball holds off Seymour

APPLETON – The Fox Valley Lutheran baseball team kept its unbeaten record intact with a 3-2 victory over Seymour in a Bay Conference game Tuesday at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.

Spencer Bromm had a two-run single in the first inning and Luke Heimerl knocked in a run with a single in the second giving FVL pitcher Jack Schlueter all the needed.


Schlueter allowed a two-run single to Cayden Staffeldt in the sixth inning, but that was it as he tossed a complete game to push the Foxes to a 4-0 overall record and a 3-0 mark in the Bay Conference.

The two teams will play again Thursday at Seymour.
