Appleton North baseball rolls past De Pere

APPLETON – Colin Reddy hit a home run and drove in six to lead the Appleton North baseball team to an 11-2 nonconference win over De Pere on Monday at North High School.
Reddy hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning to cap a five-run frame that helped the Lightning turn a 6-2 lead into a rout.
Brennan Otto had two hits and two RBI, and Jackson Skorr and Griffin Stan each scored three times for Appleton North, which is now 5-1 after winning its fifth straight.
Owen Reuland picked up the pitching win, allowing one run in four hitless innings with six strikeouts.
Appleton North hosts Hortonville on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are undefeated in the Fox Valley Association so far this spring.
