Fond du Lac downs Appleton East baseball

APPLETON – The Appleton East baseball team was held to four hits and lost a Fox Valley Association game to Fond du Lac 10-1 on Thursday at East High School.

Three Appleton East pitchers combined for nine walks and the Patriots committed four errors in the loss, falling to 2-6 overall and 0-6 in the FVA.

Logan Bolander and Zac Zangl each had two RBI for Fond du Lac (6-1, 4-1 FVA).

Appleton East is back in action Tuesday at home against Appleton North.
