Appleton United girls lacrosse dominates Kimberly

APPLETON – The Appleton United girls lacrosse team remains undefeated in the Bay Valley Conference after trouncing Kimberly 14-4 on Monday on Youth Night at Appleton East High School.
Appleton outscored Kimberly 10-0 over the middle two quarters to pull away.
Kailey Heindel, Kayden Smiht and Riley Harris each had three goals for Appleton, which is now 3-1-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the Bay Valley. Kimberly falls to 4-4 and 3-3 in conference play.
Sasha Sanchez added a pair of scores, and Chloe Rhoda and knocked in a goal. Kinsley Torud and Naomi Konkle both had a goal and an assist, and Candice Guerrero also had an assist for Appleton.
Appleton goalkeepers Morgan Muntner and Rachel Racine both had one save.
Appleton United hosts Pulaski for another Bay Valley game on Thursday as part of a girls-boys doubleheader. The girls game begins at 5 p.m. with the boys to follow at approximately 7 p.m.
