Xavier baseball cruises to road win over Shawano, clinches at least share of Bay Conference title

SHAWANO – The Xavier baseball team clinched no worse than a share of the Bay Conference championship with a 9-2 win over Shawano on Tuesday at Memorial Park.
Kyler Bleck struck out four and allowed just two runs over 6 1/3 innings, and also had two hits and scored twice for Xavier, which improves to 12-9 overall and 10-2 in the Bay Conference.
Titan Milhaupt, Frankie Cavaiani, Carter Hermus and Easton Stempa each had two hits as well for Xavier, which finished with 13 in all.
The two teams will play again Thursday at Don Hawkins Field in Appleton beginning at 4:30 p.m.
