Kimberly wins team title, Kaukauna’s Benson places first at FVA Boys Golf Tournament

APPLETON – Kimberly had three of the top six finishers and won the team title at the 2026 Fox Valley Association Boys Golf Tournament on Wednesday at Chaska Golf Course.

Kaukauna’s Bax Benson won the individual title with an even-par 72, one shot better than Kimberly’s Drew Grant and Tyson West.

The Papermakers, who went 9-0 during the FVA dual season, wins the overall for the fourth year in a row.

Appleton East placed fifth with a score of 319, Appleton West was sixth with a 321 and Appleton North took ninth with a 337.

Appleton West’s Graham Goldschmidt finished in a three-way tie for fourth with a 74, and Appleton North’s Jonathan Huenink picked up a top-10 finish, ending up in a three-way tie for ninth with a 76.

Max Vanden Langenberg and Mason Rehberg of Appleton East, and Appleton West’s Mason Peterson ended up in a five-way tie for 15^th with 79s.

Appleton East, Appleton North and Appleton West will play in a WIAA Division 1 regional at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah on Tuesday.
