Appleton Doubledays Legion baseball shuts out Neenah, wins fourth game in a row

MENASHA – The Appleton Doubledays Legion baseball team picked up its fourth-straight win with a dominant 10-0 victory over Neenah Post 33 on Tuesday at Koslo Park.
Appleton broke open a one-run game with three runs in the fourth and five more in the fifth.
The Doubledays (9-2) pounded out 15 hits, three by Jackson Bines-Sabrowsky, and two each from A.J. Thompson, Mason Winkler and Lincoln Thede.
Appleton’s Cade Prestigiacomo knocked in three with a two-run triple in the fourth inning and a bases-loaded walk in the sixth that ended the game due to the 10-run rule.
